The Central Building Plan Department (CPBD) in the National Environment Agency (NEA) is responsible in ensuring that
environmental factors are incorporated into land use planning, development and building control of new developments and that
the proposed developments are in compliance with environmental health and pollution control requirements. The various codes

Where can I find information on the planning and usage of limited land in Singapore?
Land use and allocation in Singapore is governed by our Master Plan, which is reviewed every five years. The most current,
Master Plan 2014, focuses on building townships for all ages that are green, healthy, connected, strong in community
