I have attended the Train The Trainer (TTT) Programme. Would I be able to benefit from the Structured On-The-Job Training (S-OJT) Workshops?
The S-OJT Workshops will provide best practices on OJT implementation. Participants who wish to refresh their knowledge on OJT would benefit from the programme.
What is the difference between the Train The Trainer (TTT) Programme and the Structured On-The-Job Training (S-OJT) Workshops?
Participants who successfully complete each module under the TTT Programme will be awarded a nationally recognised pedagogic certificate issued by ITE. In addition, participants with the requisite TTT modular certificates and relevant training experience may apply for the ITE Industry Trainer Certificate (ITC).
The S-OJT Workshops are focused on best practices in OJT implementation in companies. For individuals who have not attended the TTT Programme, the S-OJT Workshops provide a good introduction to the pedagogic skills necessary for effective training and development. Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement at the end of each workshop.
Is there any assessment at the end of the workshops?
There is no assessment for the workshops. Participants will be issued a Certificate of Achievement at the end of each workshop if they have attained at least 75% attendance.
What will I get from the Generic Workplace Programme (GWP) – Trainers’ Workshop?
i. Teaching Plans;
ii. Training Notes;
iii. Training Resources (Powerpoint Slides, Audio Clips etc);
iv. Activities / Worksheets (with suggested answers); and
v. Assessment (with suggested answers).
I do not know about the ITE Certified On-The-Job Training Centre (COJTC) scheme, but am interested to learn more about implementing OJT at the workplace. Can I register?
Yes. The Structured On-The-Job (S-OJT) workshop will cover the best practices for in-house OJT implementation. All individuals or company-sponsored employees interested in OJT, will be able to benefit from the workshop. It is not necessary for your company to be a COJTC before you can attend.
My company is applying for the ITE Approved Training Centre (ATC) status. Should I attend the Train The Trainer (TTT) modules or the S-OJT Workshops?
The relevant company staff should attend the TTT modules required for their roles under the ITE ATC scheme.
My company is applying for the Certified On-The-Job (COJTC) status. Should I attend the TTT Programme or S-OJT Workshops?
Company staff should attend the TTT Programme and/or S-OJT Workshops depending on their roles under the COJTC Scheme. Staff who are interested to develop their pedagogic skills, are strongly encouraged to attend the TTT modules so that they can obtain nationally recognised trainer certification. They will be able to apply for the ITE Industry Trainer Certificate (ITC) if they passed the required TTT modules and have the necessary training experience.
How can I withdraw from a workshop or defer to a later class after registration? If I withdraw from the workshop, can I obtain a refund?
Request for withdrawal or to attend a workshop on a later date must be made in writing to the Industry Training Department via email, firstname.lastname@example.org, or fax at 6590 2418. For withdrawal or postponement cases, the amount of fee refund is based on the date that the request is received by ITE as follows:
- 2 weeks or more before course commencement date - Full refund
- Less than 2 weeks before course commencement date - 50% refund
- On or after date of commencement - No refund
In the event that a workshop is cancelled, applicants will be notified in advance and fees will be fully refunded.

The online application form is available at https://www.ite.edu.sg/apply-now. Identify the category, 'Part-Time Intake Exercises' and select the 'Apply Now' button for 'Train The Trainer (TTT) workshops'.
You may also personally submit the application and make payment via NETS, Visa or MasterCard at our Customer & Visitor Centres.
What are the entry requirements for the workshops?
The workshops will cover key concepts and focus on their application in the workplace context. For participants to benefit from the workshops, he/she must be able to read, understand and speak English.
Are the fees inclusive of GST?
Yes, the fees are inclusive of GST.
Is there any difference in the fees for Singapore Citizens and foreigners?
Nett fee is applicable with effect from 1 Oct 2018. Non-Singapore
Citizens and non-Permanent Residents will pay the full course fee.
