We encourage you to set up other 2FA methods as soon as possible for seamless access. Choose one of the following options today:
Singpass app
If you have a smartphone, you may download the Singpass app to log in using your fingerprint (for selected smartphones), face (for selected smartphones) or a 6-digit passcode.
Download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
SMS 2FA
If you have a mobile phone that cannot download apps, you may log in to the Singpass Portal to set up your SMS 2FA.
With this, you can use the SMS One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile number to log into Singpass. Only Singapore-registered mobile numbers may be used for this.
Face Verification
This feature allows you to log in to a digital service with your Singpass ID and password, followed by scanning your face on a computer with a web camera, or a smartphone with a front-facing camera on your mobile web browser.
Simply select “Face Verification” when prompted for your 2FA authentication.
Multi-User SMS 2FA
If a family member is helping you with your transactions, you can give your one-time explicit consent to link your Singpass account to his/her mobile number for the purpose of receiving the SMS-OTP.
Both parties are required to activate this option at any of the Singpass counters islandwide (for locations, check go.gov.sg/singpass-counters). If you have difficulties being physically present, please contact our Singpass Helpdesk at support@singpass.gov.sg.
