With the formation of the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) on 1 Apr 2019, the National Centre of Food Science (NCFS) was established to bring together key competencies in food diagnostics, as well as research and development in food safety. Laboratory testing at NCFS is a critical component of SFA’s food safety programme as it supports the SFA’s regulatory functions and R&D in food safety.
Since 1 July 2019, NCFS has stopped providing commercial testing services for all tests that are currently available in commercial laboratories. For tests that commercial laboratories do not have the capability, please contact NCFS using SFA's Online Feedback Form.
