The iPSLE is intended for pupils in overseas schools that adopt a curriculum similar to the Singapore school curriculum. It is the international version of the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) taken by pupils in Singapore at the end of 6 years of education in a primary school.
It was introduced with the aim of providing benchmarking for overseas schools which are interested to benchmark against Singapore's standard. The
iPSLE will be conducted in June/July each year and the results will be released in November of the same year.
