How do I apply for an electricity or gas licence?
You can apply for a licence online at the
ELISE
website. Please submit all the relevant supporting documents required to avoid any delays in processing the application.
2.
How long does it take to process a licence application?
You should receive the outcome of your electricity or gas licence application within 12 weeks of submitting all the necessary information and documents with the application.
3.
Do I have to pay any fee for any licence applications?
You will need to pay an initial licence fee within 30 days of EMA's notification that your application is successful.
