It is a statutory requirement for all employers to contribute SDL for their employees. There is no link between the collection of SDL and the disbursement of SDF training assistance. SDF training assistance is given as incentives to employers who invest in the skills upgrading of their workers. Yes. The SDL is different from the Foreign Workers Levy (FWL). Payment of SDL should also be indicated separately from payment of FWL in your payment to CPF Board.
