How much do you have to pay our OSIP students?
A monthly allowance of $440, inclusive of public holidays, is recommended. We are open to negotiation, as some companies have offered assistance by way of providing accommodation, transportation and food for our students aside from a small allowance. In fact, overseas organisations that are hosting our students usually provide accommodation and food for our students. Some overseas organisations pay for airfare too. But this is not compulsory.
Companies operating in Singapore need not contribute to the Central Provident Fund & Skills Development Fund for employing these interns.
