What is the basic salary if I join the Police Force as a Police Officer?
You will join as Corporal or Sergeant. Your entry salary will depend on your educational qualification. Those who had completed full-time National Service will be granted NS increments. For more details, click

If I've not served my National Service, can I apply?
Yes, you can. SPF will have to check with Central Manpower Base (CMPB) prior to your appointment for approval to release you from full-time National Service enlistment. All male Singaporeans/ Singapore Permanent Residents who have not completed full-time national service must serve a minimum term of 5 years (known as Minimum Term of Engagement, MTE) as a regular officer so as to fulfil your full-time National Service obligation.

Will I be informed of the outcome of my application?
We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend interview. All shortlisted candidates will be notified within one month from the date of application.
