1.	How much does this licence cost and how long is it valid for?
	The fees for the various licences and the validity period are as follows: Licence to deal in arms - $550 for 2 years Licence to manufacture arms - $550 for 2 years Licence to repair arms - $370 for 2 years back to top


2.	Do I need to apply for this licence?
	Yes, a licence is required if you deal in/manufacture/store explosives. (Note: Only government-linked companies are permitted to manufacture explosives) back to top


3.	How much does each licence cost and how long is it valid for?
	For PE establishment licence, the licence fee is dependent on the type of entertainment and the permitted hours of operation. Please refer to the Fees Schedule for the list of licence fees. The licence for a PE establishment is normally issued for 1 year. For PE ad- hoc licence, the licence fee depends on the duration of the licence. The rates are $20 per day or $40 per 7 days, consecutive or otherwise. back to top


4.	What are the commonly held activities that require a permit?
	The following is a list of commonly held activities that require a permit: - religious assembly; - festival procession (e.g. lantern festival foot procession); - religious procession (e.g. chariot procession, foot procession, - - foot and vehicular procession or vehicular procession); - sports-related procession (e.g. walkathon, walk-a-jog, family run, - jogathon or road run); - vehicular rally; - treasure hunt; and - Malay wedding procession back to top


5.	As a licensee, do I need to obtain the approval of the Licensing Officer for all my employees working in the massage establishment?
	Yes, the licensee is required to obtain the approval of the Licensing Officer before he employs any person to work in the massage establishment. back to top
