I will not have completed my 6 continuous months of relevant legal experience before the start of the Part B course. Can I appeal for an exemption?
If you are currently undertaking your 6 continuous months of 'relevant legal training' and/or 'relevant legal practice or work', but you will not have completed it before the start of the Part B course, you will not be eligible to take Part B.If you will miss completing the 6-month requirement by only a few days or weeks, and if you have a valid reason for this, you can try appealing for an exemption. Please note that each appeal is considered case-by-case on its individual merits. The onus is on the applicant to put forward a strong case for the exemption sought.
