You can register for one subject in the General Education programme.
You can apply for the General Education programme if your work pass is valid for the duration of the course.
The policy on repeat modules took effect for intakes after April 2007 as part of the government's review on funding for part-time courses offered by ITE and the Polytechnics. The rationale of the policy is to optimise the high subsidies to benefit as many Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents as possible.
Students may approach the Community Development Councils (CDCs) or self-help groups like MENDAKI, SINDA and CDAC for financial assistance.

Participants in the General Education (GE) Programme who are Singapore Citizens may apply for the GCE 'N', and 'O' level examinations during the ITE registration exercise . Fees are waived for Singapore Citizens. Permanent Residents and international students are to register on their own as private candidates. Details are available at the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website (www.seab.gov.sg) or via the MOE Customer Service at 6872 2220.
Participants in the General Education (GE) Programme who are Singapore Citizens and registered under ITE's GE Programme are eligible for a waiver of examination fees.
PRs and international students are required to pay examination fees. Please refer to the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board website (www.seab.gov.sg) for details.
GE course participants who are Singapore Citizens will enjoy waiver of examination fees for the GCE 'N' and 'O' Examinations. They are to submit their exams applications to ITE during the registration exercise.
PRs and non-Singapore citizens are required to register for the GCE 'N' or 'O' level examinations with the SEAB as private candidates and pay exam fees directly to SEAB.
