Course Details & Certification
1.	When are the classes offered?
	The Train The Trainer classes are offered throughout the year. The schedule can be downloaded from the website http://www.ite.edu.sg/cet/ttt/index.htm (see Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the webpage). back to top


2.	When are the classes normally conducted?
	Classes are normally conducted on weekdays, 9.00am - 5.15pm. The exact timings are available from our training calendar which is accessible from our website http://www.ite.edu.sg/cet/ttt/index.htm (see Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the webpage). back to top


3.	Is there any course conducted in Mandarin?
	Yes, we conduct some of the courses in Mandarin. Please check our website (see Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the webpage) for details. back to top


4.	What certificate do I get upon completion of course?
	For the Coaching Skills, Instructional Skills, Planning & Implementing OJT, Test Construction & Assessment and Curriculum Design & Development for Skills Training courses, you will be awarded the Industry Trainer Module Certificate if you pass the assessment and achieve at least 75% attendance. For the other courses, you will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement if you attain at least 75% attendance. back to top


5.	When and how will I receive my certificate?
	The certificates will be ready on the 28th of the following month (i.e. if the course is taken in Mar, the certificates will be ready by 28 Apr) and will be released when all outstanding fees have been paid. You may collect your certificates from: ITE Headquarters - Customer Service Centre Institute of Technical Education 10 Dover Drive (Podium B Level 2) Singapore 138683 Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm. Closed on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. If you would like the certificate to be sent to you, please email your request to cet@ite.edu.sg indicating your name, address (please provide a Singapore address) and course you have attended with commencement date. Please note that your certificate will be sent by normal mail and ITE will not be responsible for any damage or loss of certificate through the mail. Requests for reprinting of damaged certificates will not be entertained. back to top


6.	What are the requirements to be eligible for the Industry Trainer Certificate?
	To be eligible for the Industry Trainer Certificate, you must meet all the following requirements: 1) Passed all 3 courses: Coaching Skills, Instructional Skills and Planning & Implementing OJT (all to be taken within the last 6 years); 2) Possessed minimum 6 months of post-training experience after the completion of the 3 courses; 3) Possessed minimum Nitec or equivalent qualification in any trade area; and 4) Possessed at least 3 years of relevant working experience. Application & Withdrawal
1.	How do I apply for the course?
	You may apply personally at the Customer Service Centres, by post or through the Internet. Payment must be made for confirmation of place. Details are given at www.ite.edu.sg/cet/ttt/apply.htm back to top


2.	How can I withdraw from or defer attending a course after registration? If I withdraw from the course, can I get a refund?
	Withdrawal notice or request to attend a course on a later date must be made in writing to Worker Education Programme Dept. For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows: - 2 weeks or more before course commencement date - Full refund - Less than 2 weeks before course commencement date - 50% refund - On or after date of commencement - No refund In the event that the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, full refund will be given. back to top

Entry Requirements
1.	Is there any entry requirements for Train The Trainer?
	There is no entry requirements in general. However, participants should preferably have completed secondary education, and be proficient in written and spoken English (if coming for the course conducted in English) or in written and spoken Mandarin (if coming for the course conducted in Mandarin). It is also recommended that participants are in the training industry. back to top


2.	Is there any age requirement?
	Participants must be of at least 16 years old or above. back to top


3.	There are more than one course for Train-the-Trainer. Is there any order in which the courses should be completed?
	In general, there is no specific order. However, it is recommended that participants complete the Planning & Implementing OJT course before attempting Coaching Skills. back to top

Fees & Subsidies
1.	Is there any difference in the fees for foreigners and Singapore Citizens?
	No, Singaporeans and foreigners pay the same fee. back to top


2.	Is the fee inclusive of GST?
	The fee is already inclusive of GST. back to top


3.	Is there any training assistance or subsidy for the courses?
	Yes, funding through the Skills Programme for Upgrading and Resilience (SPUR) [administered by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA)] is now available for the following courses: * Coaching Skills; * Instructional Skills; * Planning & Implementing On-the-Job Training (OJT); * Test Construction & Assessment; and * Curriculum Design & Development for Skills Training Please note that only company-sponsored Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for SPUR funding. 4.	How much is the SDF assistance?
	It is $2.00 for every training hour for non-SMEs. For SMEs, the funding level is $4.00 per training hour. back to top


5.	How do I apply for SDF assistance?
	The employer needs to submit an SDF Form 1 to SDF at least one working day before commencement of the course. You may download a copy of the SDF Form 1 from www.sdf.gov.sg or by calling the SDF Hotline on 68835885. back to top


6.	What are the criteria to be considered an SME?
	Your company is considered an SME if it meets all the conditions below: 1) at least 30% local ownership; 2) fixed asset investment of less than S$15 million; and 3) employment size of less than 200. back to top
