Course Details & Certification
1.	Are certificates awarded upon completion of the course?
	You will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement at the end of the course if you attain an attendance of at least 75%. back to top


2.	When are the classes normally conducted?
	Classes are normally conducted on weekday evenings, 6.45pm - 9.45pm, and on weekends, 9.00am - 12.00pm. The exact timings will be printed on the enrolment confirmation slip and the course schedule for each programme. back to top


3.	Is there any course conducted in Mandarin?
	All courses are in English unless stated otherwise. back to top

Application & Withdrawal
1.	How do I apply for the course?
	You may apply personally at the Customer Service Centres, by post or through the Internet. Details are at www.ite.edu.sg/cet/sc/apply.htm. back to top


2.	How can I withdraw from or defer attending a course after registration? If I withdraw from the course, can I get a refund?
	Withdrawal notice or request to attend a course on a later date must be made in writing to Worker Education Programme Dept via email cet@ite.edu.sg or fax: 6590 2418. For withdrawal cases, the portion of course fee to be refunded is based on the date of notice as follows: - 2 weeks or more before course commencement date - Full refund - Less than 2 weeks before course commencement date - 50% refund - On or after date of commencement - No refund In the event that the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, full refund will be given. back to top

Entry Requirements
1.	Is there any entry requirements for Short Courses?
	There is no entry requirements in general, except for courses that require professional experience in that particular field and those that are of a higher skill level. For some courses, you will benefit more from the training if you are in the same technical line. back to top


2.	Is there any age requirement?
	Participants must be 16 years old and above. back to top


3.	Are foreigners eligible for these courses?
	Yes. back to top

Fees & Subsidies
1.	Is there any difference in the fees for foreigners and Singapore Citizens?
	No, Singaporeans and foreigners pay the same fee for Short Courses. back to top


2.	Is the fee inclusive of GST?
	The fee is already inclusive of GST. back to top


3.	Is there any training assistance from the Skills Development Fund (SDF)?
	If your employer sponsors you for the course, your employer may apply for SDF assistance. Do note that only Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for SDF subsidies. back to top


4.	How do I apply for SDF assistance?
	Your employer needs to complete and submit SDF Form 1 to the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) at least one working day before commencement of the course. You may obtain a copy of the SDF Form 1 by downloading from www.sdf.gov.sg or by calling the SDF Hotline on 6883 5885. back to top
