Course Details & Certification
1.
Are there certificates awarded upon completion of the course?
Yes, you will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) at the end of the course if you complete and pass the end-of-course assessment. You will receive the full qualification if you complete all the required modules needed for the respective certificates.

When can I collect the certificates?
You will receive notification via phone or email to collect the Statement of Attainment (SOA) or certificate approximately 8 weeks after you have completed the end-of-course assessment for the respective modules.

3.
When are the classes normally conducted?
Classes are normally conducted on weekday evenings, starting from 6.30pm. Please refer to the course schedule for each programme for the actual times.

4.
Can I take the assessment without going through the course?
Yes, a skilled worker who could demonstrate the required module competencies can obtain the relevant certifications through the assessment only pathway without having to attend any training.

Is there any course conducted in Mandarin?
No, all courses are conducted in English.

Application & Withdrawal
1.
How do I apply for the course?
You may apply personally at the Customer Service Centres, or by post. Details are available on the application web page of the respective programme.

2.
When will I know the outcome of my application?
For application through post and Internet, you will be informed of the outcome by phone/post/email at least one week before the commencement of class. If you do not receive any notification by then, please contact us at Tel : 1800-2255483 or

For applications submitted over the counter, you will not receive further confirmation unless the class is cancelled.

3.
How can I withdraw from or defer attending a course after registration? If I withdraw from the course, can I get a refund?
Application for refund/withdrawal must be made in writing to the Industry Training Programme Dept, ITE. The refund amount is based on the date of receipt of the application for refund/withdrawal as follows:
- 2 weeks or more before course start date = Full refund
- Less than 2 weeks before course start date = 50% refund
- On or after date of commencement = No refund
In the event that the course is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, full refund will be given.
Deferment from attending a course is not allowed after course confirmation. However, you may send a replacement if you are unable to attend the course.

Entry Requirements
1.
Is there any entry requirement for WSQ courses?
There are different entry requirements for different WSQ programmes. Please refer to the websites of the respective programmes for the entry requirements.

Do I have to complete certain modules before attempting other modules?
The WSQ modules are generally short and self contained modules designed to meet the specific training needs of workers. You may enrol for any module if you meet the admission guidelines for the module.

Do I have to complete all the modules?
The WSQ modules are independent modules and you will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) if you complete the course and pass the end of module assessment. You do not have to enrol for all the modules if you do not intend to get the full qualification.

Is there any age requirement?
Yes, course participants must be 16 years old and above.

5.
Are foreigners eligible to enrol for these courses?
Yes, foreigners with valid workpass are eligible to enrol for these courses.

Fees & Subsidies
1.
Is there any difference in the fees for foreigners and Singapore Citizens?
Yes, Singaporeans and foreigners will pay different fees for these courses. Foreigners will pay the full fee while Singaporeans who meet the SDF assistance criteria will pay the nett fee.

2.
How can I apply for SDF assistance?
Applicants who meet the assistance criteria will pay the nett fee during enrolment. They do not need to apply for SDF assistance separately.

3.
Is the fee inclusive of GST & registration fee?
The fee is inclusive of GST and registration fee.
