Who are eligible to attend a General Education course?
Applicants must be at least 16 years old, and are Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident or Non-citizen with a Work Pass or Dependant Pass.
What courses are available in the General Education Programme?
The General Education Programme offers part-time courses from S1N to S5N. Subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Science, Principles of Accounts, History, Geography, Literature etc.
These courses are suitable for adult learners who seek to upgrade their qualifications up to the GCE 'N' or 'O' levels for skills upgrading and to enhance their employment prospects.
Courses are conducted from February to September/October, with lessons held once a week per subject.
When are the classes normally conducted?
Classes are normally conducted on weekday evenings, 6.45pm - 9.45pm, and on weekends, 9.00am - 12.00pm. The exact timing will be printed on the enrolment confirmation slip and the course schedule for each programme.
