I am not getting an acceptable level of postal service. Is SingPost subjected to any Quality of Service (QoS) standards?

|
SingPost and other public postal licensees are subject to IDA's set of minimum Quality of Service (QoS) standards. Some of the performance indicators include the percentage of mail delivered within and outside CBD within the next working day and percentage of calls answered within 20 seconds for postal operator enquiry services.
On 1 April 2007, Singapore's Basic Mail Services market - which includes the collection and delivery of letters and postcards, within, into and out of Singapore - was liberalised after a 15-year monopoly by SingPost. The express letter market has been liberalised since 1995.
IDA believes that with new players allowed in both domestic and international mail services, the competition will help ensure that the postal licensees provide good service to their customers.
If you encounter problems receiving your postal articles on time or have concerns regarding postal-related matters, you should contact the postal licensee for assistance. Should the issue remain unresolved, you may wish to contact IDA.
