If my existing air-conditioning unit is already supported on a metal bracket, do I need to change the bracket to a stainless steel bracket?
|
|
If your air-conditioning unit is already supported by a metal bracket, you are not required to change it to a new stainless steel bracket. You may continue to use the metal bracket. However, if the existing metal bracket is badly corroded, you should contact a trained installer to replace it immediately to prevent any accidents. The supporting bracket must be in stainless steel when you replace the current air-conditioning unit with a new one. For more information, please click here.
