Is pension income taxable?
No, pensions paid to pensioners living in Singapore are exempted from Income Tax.

How can I identify that the patient is a civil servant or dependant?
The patient should display his/her Public Service card or civil service card to differentiate himself as civil servant or dependant for the clinic to verify the eligibility of the patient online. If he/she is not able to produce these two cards, the clinic can also rely on the NRIC or any other document that has a photo of the patient on it. Below are samples of the Public Service Card and Civil Service Card.

Do I have to affix a stamp on the envelope when sending correspondences to AGD?
Yes, you are required to affix a stamp.

Can I change my bank account for receiving pension, medical and dental reimbursements and GIRO deduction for medical bills?
Yes, please complete the :
a) "Authorisation For Direct Credit to Bank Account Form" for the receipt of pensions, medical and dental reimbursements; and/or
b)"Authorisation For Direct Debit from the Bank Account" Form for the payment of medical bills through Inter-bank GIRO
You may download the forms from the Pensioner's Portal. Do not close your old bank account until your new bank account starts receiving payments.
