The iPSLE is intended for pupils in overseas schools that adopt a
curriculum similar to the Singapore school curriculum. It is the international version
of the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) taken by pupils in Singapore
at the end of 6 years of education in a primary school.
There is no
restriction in the age requirement for pupils to take iPSLE.
may register for the iPSLE with
overseas examination centres appointed by the Singapore Examinations and
Assessment Board. The overseas appointed centres are found at SEAB website, http://www.seab.gov.sg/pages/internationalExaminations/iPSLE/exam_centres.asp
Six subjects are
available in the iPSLE: English Language (EL), Mathematics (MA), Science (SC),
Chinese Language (CL), Malay Language (ML) and Tamil Language (TL). Pupils may
sit a maximum of 4 subjects.
