You are required to do a search of the marriage records maintained by this Registry, on yourself. Searches can be done online through the Search for Marriage Records.

What is captured in a Guardian (Wali) consent and authorisation letter?
The Wali must declare in the consent letter that he allows his ward to marry in Singapore with the proposed groom. He will also need to make a declaration appointing the Kadi as his 'Wakil' to perform the 'Akad' on his behalf in the letter of authorisation (Tawkil).
Can we leave Singapore after we have submitted an application for marriage?
Yes. However, you, your proposed spouse and the Wali and/or guardian must come personally to ROMM for Statutory Declaration and verification of documents before the intended date of marriage and must be present for the marriage solemnization.
Can a couple get married in a Singapore embassy in another country?
No. Officers of our overseas mission are not authorised to solemnize Muslim marriages.
