How can I bail an inmate?
All court bails are processed at the Bail Centre located on the ground floor of the Subordinate Courts Havelock Square Complex. For more information, you may contact 6435-5928 / 929.
May I request for an open visit for the inmate to carry his/her baby?
You may write to the Prison authorities for consideration and approval.
Can I bring the inmate specially-cooked food during festive seasons?
Visitors are not allowed to bring food for inmates throughout the year. Inmates are provided with special meals during festive seasons.
I have just received a Visit Notification Letter, but the scheduled visit date stated has already lapsed. Can I still visit the inmate?
You can contact the Visit Office of the Institution to arrange for another visit date.
How do I get the inmate to sign a document during the visit?
Documents requiring the inmate's signature are to be duly filled up before being submitted through the Visit Office. Visitors are encouraged to submit the documents before the start of the visit session.
