Can I contact NParks to cut the grass in my landed property? Under the centralisation, NParks has taken over public greenery maintenance (grass-cutting and pruning of trees/plants/shrubs/other vegetation) for areas managed by SLA, PUB and HDB. Maintenance of privately owned land should continue to be handled by the respective land owners. 2. Can I send all greenery related feedback to NParks? Members of the public can contact NParks for all greenery issues. If the scope of the greenery has not yet been taken over by NParks, NParks will channel feedback to the appropriate agency for follow-up. 3. How will I know if NParks has taken over maintenance of greenery near my area? If members of public are unsure, they can forward their feedback to NParks, who will then channel feedback to the appropriate agency for follow-up. 4. Why is NParks not taking over grass cutting on all lands such as Town Councils? Centralisation efforts will commence by focusing on these three agencies (HDB, PUB and SLA) starting 1 Jun 2015, by prioritising HDB, PUB and SLA areas that are nearest to the residential community. NParks will explore extending the centralisation coverage beyond these three agencies at a later stage. 5. Will NParks be taking over grass-cutting at land areas under Town Councils? Under the centralisation, NParks will be carrying out grass cutting in areas currently under the management of SLA, PUB and HDB, starting with those that are nearest to the residential community. Land areas managed by Town Councils are not included.
