Which activities require permits? You need permits to hold a barbecue in the parks. For BBQ permits, please apply at AXS Stations island-wide. Application to use a park can be done online via our Venue Booking System or through our Managing Agent (for venues at Fort Canning Park, HortPark and the Singapore Botanic Gardens). Please note that applications should be submitted at least 30 days in advance. 3. What are some of the rules visitors have to abide by when in the parks? As parks are for the enjoyment for all Singapore residents, everyone has a part to ensure that the park environment is clean and pleasant. You can camp at: East Coast Park: Area D and Area GPasir Ris Park: Area 1 and Area 3West Coast Park: Designated area within Area 3You will need to apply for a camping permit in order to camp at the above parks.
