Who will be required to register with MOE?
Registration applies to all
instructors engaged by schools to conduct co-curricular and enrichment activities for students.
Instructors who need to be registered:
Co-curricular Activities (CCA) coaches and instructors;
Art and Music Scheme (AMIS) instructors;
Programme for Active Learning (PAL) instructors;
Conversational Chinese/Malay instructors;
Instructors for activities that involve overnight stay, local camps or overseas trips with students;
All other instructors of school-based co-curricular and enrichment activities with duration of more than 8 hours contact time per contract with students (for example, weekly two-hour sessions spanning more than 4 weeks)
When should instructors re-apply for registration with MOE?
Instructors who wish to continue providing co-curricular and enrichment activities are advised to reapply for registration with MOE three months prior to the expiry of their registered status. Re-application for registration which is more than 3 months away from the expiry date will not be processed by our system.
How will instructors be evaluated?
Instructors will be holistically evaluated based on the following:
Age (should be at least 18 years of age);
Area of specialisation;
Relevant qualifications and experience to the activity concerned (if available);
Registration with a relevant professional body (if available);

Instructors' registered status with MOE will be valid for two years.
