How do I re-admit my child into the mainstream school system?
There are 2 approaches.
Approach the former school of your child and apply for re-admission
Alternatively go to MOE customer service centre and apply for re-admission
What are the documents I need to submit for re-admission?
The required documents are as follows:
Student's NRIC or Birth Certificate
Parents or Guardian NRIC
Report book / Result Slips

What is the school graduation certificate?
All students who complete their education at the mainstream secondary (from 2007 onwards) and pre-university levels (from 2006 onwards) will receive a comprehensive school testimonial called the School Graduation Certificate from their schools upon graduation. It includes a description of each student's academic and non-academic achievements and personal qualities.
I have lost my school graduation certificate. How can I request for a replacement copy?
There is no reprint of the School Graduation Certificate (SGC). If you have lost your SGC, you can purchase a Certified-True-Copy of SGC on the spot from
MOE’s Customer Service Centre
. Each copy of the SGC costs $10. You will need to bring along your original NRIC for identification.
If a public holiday falls on a Saturday during term time, will schools be closed on the following Monday?
The following Monday, will be a school holiday for teaching staff and pupils. Schools' general offices will remain open.
How do I update the address of my child in the school's or MOE records?
You can approach you child's school in person with your NRIC or other supporting documents to update his/her address.
