I would like to learn conversational English. May I join the GE Programme?
The policy on repeat modules took effect for intakes after April 2007 as part of the government's review on funding for part-time courses offered by ITE and the Polytechnics. The rationale of the policy is to optimise the high subsidies (of up to 90% of course fees) to benefit as many Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents as possible.
If I wish to repeat the GCE 'N' or 'O' level courses which I havetaken in 2008 but cannot afford to pay the full course fees, are there other avenues to continue my studies on a part-time basis?
