Yes, if the child is a Singapore citizen born or has an estimated date of delivery (EDD) on or after 1 September 2016. To check if your child is eligible for Baby Bonus, you can use the eligibility check tool by clicking on the link here.
The eligible child will be able to enjoy CDA benefits. When a child successfully joins the Baby Bonus Scheme and opens a Child Development Account (CDA), he/she will receive a CDA First Step.
The child will also receive Government matching contributions for each dollar saved into the CDA, up to the maximum amount shown in the table below:

If your child qualifies for Baby Bonus benefit (check on the link here to check his/her eligibility), you can submit an application at Baby Bonus Online by following these steps.
1) Visit Baby Bonus Online (www.babybonus.msf.gov.sg)2) Click on “Join”. It will bring you to a log-in page.3) Log in using your SingPass.4) Complete the relevant sections of the application form. 5) Click “Submit” when done.
Yes, your child is eligible if his or her estimated date of delivery (EDD) on or after 1 September 2016. For such cases, please write to MSF (firstname.lastname@example.org) with a scanned copy of the doctor’s certification showing the EDD. The doctor’s certification shall include the following details:
• EDD;• Mother’s name and NRIC no;• Name of clinic; and• Doctor’s signature.
We will write to you once we have your marriage records. If your marriage was registered locally, your records will automatically be updated with us. If your marriage was registered overseas, you will need to provide us with your marriage certificate.
When we have your marriage records, you will receive a letter from us inviting you to update your particulars on Baby Bonus Online. You will need to update your particulars, such as the bank account number to receive the cash gift, on Baby Bonus Online.
Apart from the CDA benefits available to children of unwed parents, unwed mothers of Singaporean children born from 1 January 2017 onwards will be eligible for Government-paid maternity leave. In addition, Government benefits supporting the growth and development of children are given to all children regardless of the marital status of their parent. Like all other children, children of unwed parents have access to social assistance, education and healthcare subsidies.
All mothers, regardless of their marital status, are also eligible for infant care and child care subsidies, Medisave grant for newborns and the foreign domestic worker levy concession.
